BEN HALL - LEADER
Ben has been a prominent figure on the Gloucestershire music scene for more years than he’d like to think his age is. He has led several orchestras in the county, including Cheltenham Symphony Orchestra, the Capriol Chamber Orchestra, the Glevum Symphony Orchestra, and now The Cotswold Camerata.
He has also led the orchestra for many of the musical shows and light operas put on throughout the county, including performances of almost all of the Gilbert and Sullivan operettas, as well as many favourite musical shows, including My Fair Lady, Brigadoon (his personal favourite), Chicago, Calamity Jane, Oklahoma, Carousel, Mack and Mabel and, Oliver, as well as many others. There was one memorable year in which he led the orchestra for no less than three productions of Kiss Me Kate.
He has led the orchestra for shows put on by the Cotswold Savoyards, as well as the Operatic and Dramatic Societies of Gloucester, Cheltenham and Cirencester.
